Mr Bear:

Mr Bear

Mr Bear is the owner and manager of The BookShelf. He occasionally graces us with his presence at the store. The rest of the time, he likes to let Jean think he’s in charge.

Jean:


Jean

Jean has worked under the slave driving Mr Bear for longer than even he wishes to remember. He has an insatiable taste for books, more books and likes to take long walks on the beach. As Head Jerk, Jean makes sure his staff is whipped into shape while filling his remaining time with his dog Hades.

Shawn:

Shawn

The strapping young man above has been a fixture of the BookShelf for about ten years. We’re not too sure if that’s been too long or not long enough, but we all feel you must meet Shawn in person to really understand all things that make Shawn Shawn.

Eric:

Eric

If you see Eric aimlessly walking around the BookShelf with book in hand, this hardly working employee of Mr Bear’s is probably just looking for a place to read his new Neil Gaiman novel. Our Batman-loving, tech-geek, Apple-fanboy-cum-encyclopedia of useless knowledge is always happy to help and well-informed, if not over-informed.

Ryan:

Ryan controls all things web and tech related at The Bookshelf. We highly recommend not touching the router. If you happen to see him at the Bookshelf, chances are he’s finally decided to leave the bucket at home. But seriously, don’t touch the router… in fact if you see anything computer related, get permission first.

Justin:

Justin

Known for his quick wit, and lack of height, Justin is just beginning to set the standards for all BookShelf employees to follow. Feel free to beat him in a demo of Bananagrams or simply wake him up from snoozing in the back room.

Cale:

Okay, we lied. Cale is the one actually setting the standards for all BookShelf employees to follow. Justin’s just been taking most of the credit. We welcome you to find Cale for the best customer service you can get… just smile politely when he tells you to enjoy the movie.
